Mutation Process
Mutation is the process of updating land records after property transfer. Apply to the Block Land Revenue Officer (BLRO) through the Bangla Bhumi portal or in person. Documents needed: registered sale deed, previous mutation, khatian, tax receipts, and identity proof.
Mutation must be applied within 3 months of property transfer.
Online Services
The Bangla Bhumi portal (banglabhumi.gov.in) provides: online land records access, mutation application and tracking, copy of khatian/ROR, grievance filing, and payment of land revenue.
