e-Courts Portal Overview

The e-Courts portal (ecourts.gov.in) is a government initiative to provide online access to case information across all Indian courts. You can search case status, view cause lists, download orders and judgments, and track case history.

The portal covers all courts in Kolkata including the Calcutta High Court (Original and Appellate Side), Bankshall Court (City Sessions Court), City Civil Court, Alipore Judges Court, and district courts in Barasat, Barrackpore, Sealdah, and Bidhannagar.

Searching by Case Number

1. Visit the e-Courts portal (ecourts.gov.in)
2. Select 'Case Status' from the main menu
3. Choose the state: West Bengal
